I'm at my work, Collins Children's Home. The kids are all in bed.

I don't get to do my art any now. I miss it. I do enjoy what I'm doing. The kids are all important to me. But I do miss having time to do things like my art and writing.

I have my own computer now. I'm actually on my bed with my laptop on my legs. I'm listening to BB Good by the Jonas Brothers. I was listening to Yo Yo Ma, but the iTunes kept playing after Yo Yo Ma was finished playing.

I'm not used to these things. It's nice.........

I think one of the biggest reasons I wanted my own computer was so that I could have a screen saver with my favorite pictures on it. I love it!!!!! And my own music to listen to....... Now, if just I wasn't so very tired when I have a chance to enjoy a moment alone......

I miss my friends. I miss the people in California, and in Washington. I also miss the people I know here. Collins takes up most of my life. I live here most of the time.

Anne, I miss you! You know who you are. I'm sending you a hug. I hope you read this.

I may be going to New England again. My very close friend, Debbie, died at the end of January. I went there to visit her grave. One of my bosses would not let me have the funeral day off. It wasn't here at Collins. I also have a morning job while the kids are at school. Now, her husband has invited me to go back and visit again. It will be my vacation for here. I'm not doing the morning job during the summer, because all the kids are home.

It is nice, my two younger daughters are home from college. My oldest is in California. I miss her.

It is a nice thing to get to live in different places, but you miss the people where you have lived before. I have moved so many times.

I miss you too, my friends here on DA. Do you even remember me? When I was really active, when I first joined DA, I had friends who also were just joining. We kind of grew together. And I got to know some of you really well. Now, some of you are so popular that you don't even take comments any more. And others, are really popular, but .... perhaps you still remember me.

I feel like I am in a different world. I think perhaps I really am.

It is strange how life changes. My changes are always so extreme. I don't feel like I am a normal person. And, though I am surounded by so many people, I feel so alone. I think I really miss my parents too. They are alive, but 3,000 miles away. I am very close to them, but now we hardly even talk. They live with my brother, in San Diego, California. I and two of my daughters are in Seneca, South Carolina.

I still enjoy the pictures that I favorited. I hope to get a chance to look through the work that has been followed. I miss seeing what all of you are doing. I wish that I could take my DA favorites and click on some little button that would let me view them as a slide show, like I watch my screen saver. I could set it to play while I am sleeping, and I could just look up now and then. I find this type of thing very comforting, to view beautiful pictures when I open my eyes. Or pictures of people, places or things that I love.

Well, I am rambling. THis is I think the longest message I have written in a very long time. I am not sure though.
